Specialising in the design, supply, manufacture and installation of materials handling systems
through air conveying - for the plastics, paper, food and chemical industries, we have over
50 years experience. Our designs include the supply of handling systems for the transfer of pellets, edge trims, food and finished/waste products.
Pneumatic conveying is a method of conveying used widely throughout industry to transfer granules, pellets and small moulded products. This can be achieved using either a positive pressure air stream or a negative pressure air stream (vacuum)
Positive pressure conveying – for when the material to be conveyed is fed into the positive pressure air stream via a Venturi feeder unit for small throughputs or by a rotary
valve/rotary air seal for higher throughputs.
Negative pressure conveying – for when the material to be conveyed is sucked directly into
the transfer pipes and conveyed in the negative pressure air stream to the separation
cyclone from which the conveyed material falls by gravity via a rotary valve into the
process or storage below.
We promote a proven and comprehensive range of pneumatic and mechanical
conveying systems and offer services including the following:
- A pneumatic handling range consisting of both positive and negative pressure
systems. All the equipment is modular in design and the range includes fan units
(high and low pressure designs), venturi feeders, quick release ducting, cyclones
and rotary valves.
- A full range of specialised equipment covering Dust Filtration, grading/de-dusting,
hopper loading, weighing and vibratory feeders.
- Ductwork, quick release or other, in sizes ranging from 80mm to 1000mm and manufactured in either galvanised or stainless steel (suitable for the conveying
of food products, primary packaging and high grade chemicals).
- Dedicated manufacturing and workshop facilities offering custom made equipment
to meet individual requirements.
- The complete range of Kongskilde materials handling equipment is available
from our warehousing facility.
Systems are space saving and reliable. They reduce handling considerably and
quickly recover initial capital outlay.
Blowing or suction systems or a combination of the two can meet all your demands
in process waste handling.
